Abstract

Artificial Intelligence (AI) is rapidly transforming the way organizations operate, offering advanced tools for improving decision-making, efficiency, and innovation. As the demand grows for more responsible and future-oriented business practices, AI is increasingly seen as a potential driver of sustainable performance—an approach that integrates economic, environmental, and social objectives. This study presents a theoretical analysis of how AI can enhance sustainable performance by optimizing resource use, reducing environmental impact, and promoting ethical and inclusive organizational practices. It also highlights key challenges related to ethics, implementation, and governance. Based on a critical review of academic literature, the paper proposes a conceptual framework that links AI capabilities with sustainability outcomes, offering insights for future research and strategic development
